Portugal – Sende en Sado

​

• To enrich social, educational and cultural life of (young) people from rural Setubal and rural Lisbon area and to create international impact, through organization of international programs, innovation, cultural happenings and interactive courses.

• Team of young locals from Setubal area built Sende is in the countryside of Setubal, in the village called Azinhaga do Holandes with the aim to teach locals innovation, social entrepreneurship but as well conflict transformation and peace building.

• There is an elevated number of unemployed young people in rural Portugal while at the same time the country’s goal is to get recognised as on of Europe’s innovation hub.

• We believe that Sende no Sado can map rural areas all over Portugal and generate the needed impact that will help young people to get the hands on experience on social entrepreneurship, innovation, community building and conflict transformation through international experience, thanks to Erasmus plus programme.

Organisation is well connected internationally, with partners from more than 80 countries and with the pool of experts who are directly and indirectly cooperate with Sende.
