“Miško Istorijos” is a non profit, non-governmental organization. Our volunteers who come from different backgrounds aim to collaborate to assist in realizing these objectives: (a) to create a respectful and harmonious relationship with nature, (b) to help others gain knowledge about nature, (c) to promote a healthy and eco-friendly lifestyle through multiple activities which are based on workshops, thematic hikes in nature with artistic, creative and ecotherapeutic elements, volunteering, (d) to encourage young people to build ‘healthy’ relationships with others, by improving their verbal and non-verbal communication, conflict management and active listening skills, etc.

Thus, we aim to create a powerful community of citizens of Lithuania from different cultural background and educational level who share the same vision: Equal and decent opportunities on lifelong learning, on health and on enjoying a healthy environment. As organization we organize several social events such as hikes in nature, educational workshops for different groups of society (teachers, educators, adults, youths, children, special education), share information about ecological sustainability on social platforms and in seminars. Our members also participate in several Erasmus+ youth exchanges trainings abroad. We cooperate with local NGOs.
